Today's eNewsletter is about a substance

medicine. Astaxanthan is a fat soluable carotenoid
which is a powerful substance found in green plants.
Carotenoids have the following characteristics:

may help to protect against certain cancer associated

intestinal tract.
2. Higher dietary consumption of carotenoids

sources may protect against heart disease.

As you can see, carotenoids are a
powerful health-giving phytonutrient antioxidant
catagory. A growing body of evidence is showing
that Astaxanthin may be the most powerful phytonutrient
antioxidant yet discovered. Studies showing Astaxanthin
to other carotenoids have shown it to possess antioxidant
activities up to 10 times stronger than the more
commonly known ones (such as beta carotene and lutein).
A study comparing the effectiveness of Vitamin E
and Astaxanthin for the prevention of lipid peroxidation
showed that Astaxanthin is 100 to 150 times more
effective than Vitamin E!
